For 30 years now, the ARBET Styrofoam Factory has been building a brand by producing polystyrene boards for the construction industry, polystyrene blocks and fittings. Its best-known products include facade, floor and roofing polystyrene foam, as well as graphite polystyrene foam for various applications - all tailored to the requirements of customers.

ARBET has five production plants: in Koszalin, Gostyn, Przodkowo near Gdansk, Golub-Dobrzyn and Jaslo. Production is carried out even on a continuous basis if necessary.

Quality

High quality and repeatability of technical parameters are ensured by in-house testing laboratories, based on the Factory Production Control program. These activities are made possible by employing the best professionals in the industry. Trained lead auditors conduct regular audits in all production divisions according to annual schedules. During the audits, the correctness of the system's operation, including compliance with the specified procedures, is checked for individual processes.

Innovation on a European scale

On June 1, 2020, a brand new ARBET factory was launched at the old location in Jaslo. The innovations produced there translate into tangible benefits for the Factory's customers. In Jaslo, polystyrene boards with improved performance properties, which are innovative on a European scale, come off the production line, making it possible to insulate better, faster and more economically.

The quality of ARBET's choices has been repeatedly confirmed by various awards. One of the most recent is the important "National Good 2019" award for the Factory. Last year, once again, ARBET received the "Business Gazelle" emblem. The most gratifying evidence of recognition from ordinary people, institutions of public trust and charitable organizations for supporting important social, artistic and sports initiatives.

Products

FASADA CLASSIC, COMFORT, FASADA EXPERT
These two types of boards are intended for use in applications that do not require, or that require, carrying only light mechanical loads, used primarily for thermal insulation. They perform best, among others. in such areas as: walls executed using the "light wet" (BSO, ETICS) or "light dry" method, frame wall surfaces, gaps of closed or ventilated three-layer walls, lintels, jambs, lintels andother places exposed to the formation of thermal bridges, balcony loggias, layered walls, as well as cavity walls with ventilated and unventilated air gap, expansion joints in structures, in internal partitions and floors between joists.
FASADA GRAFIT, or panels with an admixture of graphite
This is a truly innovative product, characterized by increased insulation parameters. The characteristic gray-silver color is the result of the addition of graphite, which increases the absorption of thermal radiation from the polystyrene foam. Compared to traditional boards, GRAFIT simply insulates better. This gives the possibility to use thinner slabs, without losing the thermal insulation properties of "thicker" Styrofoam. These panels are indispensable, among other things, when insulating balcony loggias, doorframes and lintels, and in all places where the lowest possible thickness of thermal insulation is required. Facade GRAFIT is especially recommended for thermal insulation of energy-efficient and passive buildings, worth considering in difficult realizations, where too thick insulation can reduce the aesthetic value of the building.

Styrofoam boards FLOOR/ROOF.
This type of insulation can be used in applications requiring the transfer of medium mechanical loads, for thermal insulation of attic floors and usable and non-usable attics. It is successfully used in residential and public buildings in such places as floors on the ground with low loads, floors on all kinds of ceilings with rigid structure, interior ceilings between heated and unheated rooms, ceilings over passageways or terraces and balconies.
PARKING and PARKING EXPERT polystyrene panels
These slabs are indispensable products in applications requiring the transfer of higher mechanical loads. Using them, the following are insulated: floors in residential, public and industrial construction, floors on the ground and in the underfloor heating system, plinths in the "light-wet method", walls below ground level with waterproofing.
HYDROPIAN
Modern, self-extinguishing material, combining three very important features for insulation products: low water absorption, excellent thermal insulation parameters and high load resistance. It is manufactured from a special raw material in the form of hydrophobized polystyrene plastic. Hydrofoam is characterized by high cohesiveness, so it does not soak up water even when submerged for a long time (even a month).
TONOPIAN
These panels are used where impact sound insulation is required. The appropriate manufacturing process causes the resulting material to have the required elastic properties. It is used for acoustic insulation of ceilings, through the use of a two-layer system called a floating floor, providing excellent impact sound attenuation(up to 31 dB). In such a solution, the floor is separated from all structural elements of the room (ceiling, walls and columns, for example) by a layer of TONOPIAN. This makes it possible to achieve very high acoustic protection parameters, while at the same time ensuring that the floor will retain its functional characteristics even under long-term load.
