BP19 and BP11 HT strips - a new quality of building insulation in the "light-wet" method.
Building insulation systems carried out with the BSO method (jointless insulation systems - the "light-wet" method) - ETICS(external thermal insulation composite system) with the use of thermal claddings such as Styrofoam and mineral wool is the most common and - in terms of cost - the most attractive method of insulating external walls of buildings. For many years, this method in terms of technology has remained unchanged. However, new types of plasters (thin-layer coatings) containing various additives such as mica are appearing, which, thanks to the variety of textures, are a decorative element of the facade. The demand for new solutions for the "light-wet" method is high. The creator of such solutions is the company BELLA PLAST Jastrzębski i Wspólnicy Sp. K., which for 2021 has prepared a system of PVC facade profiles, which includes BP19 and BP11 HT slats.

BP19 and BP11 HT - new facade slats
The BP19 batten is a standing outer seam shape with a triangular cross-section, while the BP11 HT batten is the negative of the BP19 batten, an inverted seam also with a triangular cross-section. The slats can be used together or separately. The arrangement of the slats on the facade surface is arbitrary - depending on the facade design adopted. BP19 and BP11 HT slats can be mounted vertically, horizontally and in any position.
Visual effects of using BP19 and BP11 HT slats
The possibilities arising from the juxtaposition of the two slats on the facade surface are very wide. With BP11 HT slats it is possible to obtain, for example, typical horizontal rustication in the shape of a triangular groove (novelty), and with BP19 slats - vertical standing se ams - analogous - to the view of a standing seam known from joining steel sheets on the so-called seam. Another interesting effect is a facade using BP19 slats in the form of a "MATRIX" - vertical sections of different lengths located at different distances from each other. Also noteworthy is the simultaneous use of BP19 and BP11 HT slats in a vertical position, alternating - that is, once the BP19 slat(standing seam), and once the BP11 HT slat, or concave seam.

Installation of BP19 and BP11 HT slats
The installation of the slats is analogous to the installation of slats and profiles dedicated to insulation systems with the "light-wet" BSO method. The BP19 and BP11 HT slats have strips of glass mesh on both sides of the PVC body. The glass mesh is mounted to the body by means of ultrasonic welding, which is characterized by high breaking strength and guarantees a secure connection between the PVC profile (body) and the glass mesh strips.

Installing BP19 and BP11 HT slats to the facade surface is intuitive. Spread glass mesh embedding adhesive on the thermal cladding and apply the trim. Then the strips of glass mesh, with which the strip is provided, should be overlapped from the top with the facade glass mesh and both meshes, in one gluing operation, should be sunk. The next step is to spread a layer of plaster. The BP11 HT skirting board requires a typical groove in the layer of Styrofoam or mineral wool - as for a traditional rustic skirting board.
Possible color variants of BP19 and BP11 HT skirting boards
The BP19 and BP11 HT skirting boards are produced in technical white color, designed to be painted with acrylic, silicate and silicone facade paints. It is possible to produce BP19 and BP11 HT slats colored in the mass in any color, including metallic, silver, etc. from the RAL CLASSIC-7 palette. BP19 and BP11 HT slats guarantee the uniformity of the system on the entire building. The solution has received protection from the Patent Office of the R.P., and a National Technical Assessment ITB-KOT-2017/0249, 2nd edition, has been issued by the Building Research Institute in Warsaw.
