Sertos®, SecuSelect® and SecuSan®: An unbeatable trio for the contract sector
Door handles
Door handles used in commercial buildings must be particularly stable and resistant: after all, they must remain firmly attached to the door even after prolonged use. With Sertos®, HOPPE offers a door handle socket connection that guarantees exactly that. It withstands an endurance test of 1,000,000 test cycles without any loss of functionality, and thus exceeds the requirements of DIN EN 1906 for use category 4 by a factor of five. Moreover, it is not only easy to install, but also easy to remove again - without special tools! At the heart of the new Sertos® technology is the innovative ball lock developed by HOPPE in the latching connection of the handle. Sertos® is available in a wide range of different aluminum and stainless steel series.

Window handles
Not only door handles, but also window handles that are used in the commercial building sector must meet special security requirements. Burglars who try to get into a house through a window may not even retreat from a closed window handle and will do everything in their power to forcefully move the handle. In this case, the SecuSelect® window handle from HOPPE offers a special security feature: the patent cylinder is not in the handle, but in the body of the escutcheon. So if an intruder actually succeeds in turning the handle, the rosette on the window profile and the window (further) remain securely locked.
SecuSelect® window handles are also Secu100® + Secustik® tested in accordance with RAL100 and can therefore be used in protection classes RC1 to RC6. Thanks to HOPPE Quick Release, SecuSelect® can even be used on models that are normally used only for interior doors. Optical advantage: the locking cylinder does not affect the shape of the handle.

Some HOPPE sets with Sertos® handle socket connections or SecuSelect® window handles are also available with the SecuSan® antibacterial surface, which immediately and permanently inhibits the growth of germs on the handle. This solution offers active protection exactly where it is urgently needed - for example, in schools, nursing homes, offices or sports facilities. Interestingly, SecuSan® is completely maintenance-free and wear-free, making it ideal for use in the contract sector.
