Air-to-water heat pumps are increasingly popular among individual investors. The Beretta brand offers HYDRO UNIT M monobloc heat pumps for installation in single-family homes to meet space heating, cooling and hot water production needs.
HYDRO UNIT M is one of the most efficient monobloc heat pumps available on the market , combining a number of advantages: quiet operation, high energy efficiency (it is rated A+++ at 35°C and A++ at 55°C) and easy access to the unit's components. By using energy from renewable sources, the Beretta brand is concerned about the environment.
The unit includes a rotary compressor(Twin Rotary) with DC-Inverter technology, electronic expansion valve, fans with brushless EC motor and finned coil with hydrophilic coating to facilitate water drainage during the defrost cycle and minimize the possibility of evaporator coil freezing, as well as Blue Fin anti-corrosion coating. The heat pump is prepared to operate at outdoor temperatures as low as -25°C.

FUNCTIONAL ELEMENTS OF THE HYDRO UNIT M HEAT PUMP:
- INVERTER CONTROL PLATE maximizes power at critical load conditions and ensures stability and efficiency at partial loads.
- AISI 316L STAINLESS STEEL HEAT EXCHANGER PLATE: protected by closed-cell anti-condensation insulation, ensures high heat transfer efficiency.
- OPERATING PARAMETER CONTROL BOARD constantly analyzes the ambient temperature and water temperature to activate the various components and meet the heat/cooling demand.
- HYDRAULIC MODULE consisting of an energy-saving circulating pump, expansion vessel, automatic relief valve and safety valve.
- ELECTRONIC PRESSURE VALVE optimizes refrigerant flow continuously
- DOUBLE ROTATING COMPRESSOR The design of the inverter system, which includes a double DC rotary compressor, fan motor and pump, ensures precise control of motor speed to achieve the right power required to perfectly match the current load, resulting in energy savings.

ECOLOGICAL REFRIGERANT R32
HYDRO UNIT M heat pumps use R32 refrigerant with a lower greenhouse effect potential (GWP) than traditional refrigerant gases. The use of R32 refrigerant, reduced refrigerant volume, lower CO2 emissions and increased energy efficiency are features that set HYDRO UNIT M apart, and save energy and protect the environment.
AVAILABLE MODELS
There are 10 HYDRO UNIT M models (7 single-phase and 3 three-phase) available from the Beretta brand. The heat pump can be installed as a stand-alone heat source or be part of a system. Thanks to the extensive equipment and available accessories, the installation of the unit is simple, the pump works more quietly and the whole system is more efficient.

CONTROLLER INCLUDED
For all installations where the heat pump is not integrated into complex systems, it is possible to control it with the controller, which is included with the pump. This controller allows total control of the unit in an intuitive and user-friendly way. In addition, if necessary, if the temperature fell below the set temperature it will start an additional heat source, such as a condensing boiler.
The controller has a multi-language display (including Polish) and offers such functions as weekly programming, vacation and anti-freeze mode, as well as hot water management. It is also possible to manage units connected in a cascade system.

POSSIBILITY TO WORK IN A CASCADE
HYDRO UNIT M heat pumps can be combined in a cascade of up to six units to meet the heating, cooling and hot water requirements of apartment blocks and small commercial buildings. Each unit responds individually to the demand of the room in which it is installed.
