Hörmann garage doors combine innovative technological solutions with maximum safety. Good thermal insulation goes hand in hand with high durability, and elegant design - with the possibility of versatile use.
That's why they have been popular with customers for years, and allow architects to realize interesting projects.

Facade gates
Façade gates, also referred to as "facade gates," allow full integration into the facade of a building. The gate structure can be individually filled with the elements used on the facade and thus the gate becomes almost invisible, blending in perfectly with the facade. This is an excellent solution for facilities where aesthetics and elegance are key. Façade doors are offered as either sectional doors or ET 500 up-and-over doors, the latter being the ideal solution for multi-tenant garages due to its design advantages.

Energy-saving sectional doors
The LPU 67 Thermo sectional door is the leader in its class, as it provides the highest thermal insulation properties. This is evidenced by the heat transfer coefficient, which for a single segment of this door is 0.33 W/(m2.K), for an installed gate of 5000 x 2125 mm it reaches a value of 1.0 W/(m2.K)*, and when the gate is equipped with a ThermoFrame kit, it will even reach a value of 0.91 W/(m2.K)*. The gate owes such high parameters to its 67 mm thick segments with a thermal baffle, double seals between segments and a double sill seal.

LPU 67 Thermo is not only very warm, but also safe and durable. As an option, it can be equipped with certified security features in the RC2 burglary protection class, and its design protects users, especially children, from finger trapping from both inside and outside.
* The value of the quoted U-value refers to the installed door without glazing with dimensions of 5000 × 2125 mm.

Side sectional doors
This type of door will work well for low garages where the entrance opening reaches the ceiling or when the space under the ceiling is occupied. They open to the side, taking up space against the garage wall. They also provide the option of partial opening, which makes it easier to get smaller vehicles, such as motorcycles or bicycles, into the garage. In motorized gates, the width of the partial opening can be customized.
Their construction is based on 42 mm thick steel segments, filled with PU foam, thanks to which they provide very good thermal insulation. They are also characterized by a high level of security. Like vertical gates with a drive, they are equipped with a mechanical locking function in the drive rail, which effectively protects them from attempts by unwanted people to "forcibly" open them.

Fully glazed gates made of aluminum profiles
An alternative to the popular steel sectional gates are gates made of aluminum profiles, which can be filled with glass, perforated sheet or ventilation grilles. They are used wherever it is necessary to illuminate or ventilate the garage. The glazing is covered with a special Duratec coating, which protects it from scratches.

Sectional doors made of aluminum profiles are available in 3 versions: from normal profiles without thermal insulation (ART 42), from profiles with a thermal barrier (ART 42 Thermo) or in the ART 42 Vitraplan version with surface-mounted gray glazing and invisible profiles in deep black, which creates a spectacular visual effect. Another solution for gates made of aluminum profiles are side gates (HART 42), which combine the aesthetic qualities of glazed gates with the functionality of side-opening gates.
Hörmann's wide range of garage doors provides many design possibilities and makes them suitable for installation in various building conditions.
