The SPORTING 2 SECURITHERM electronic shower panel guarantees impeccable hygiene in the shower. It is activated without contact: both the opening and closing of the outflow is done by bringing your hand close to the presence detector. The innovation here is based on hygiene and user safety.
Legionella bacteria thrive in standing water at temperatures between 25 and 45°C. In this case, thermostatic technology is integrated directly into the spout of the panel, i.e. as close to the tap point as possible. The circulation of mixed water in the panel itself is therefore eliminated. In addition, an approximately 60-second intermittent flush triggered every 24 hours since the last use ensures that the water is replaced in the system. This prevents the growth of bacteria.
DELABIE has also added instant anti-scald protection. In the event of a cold water shortage, the shower panel will automatically shut off, preventing hot water from flowing out. In addition, temperature stability is guaranteed regardless of fluctuations in system pressure. Water set at 38° will thus have a stable temperature, which eliminates the risk of scalding.
In addition to having advantages related to hygiene and safety, this shower panel also meets the criteria of "economy" and "ecology". SPORTING 2 SECURITHERM, thanks to electronic functions and an outflow set at 6 l/min, allows saving nearly 80% of water compared to a classic shower. The outflow can be closed at any time by the user. In addition, in case of inattention and leaving the outflow open, a temporary safety setting will close it automatically after 60 seconds.
