descriptionOn February 20, 2024, the University of Warsaw, in cooperation with SARP, announced the results of the competition for the development of an architectural and urban design concept along with land development for the Project entitled "Construction of a Sports and Recreation Center for the needs of teaching activities and construction of a student culture center at the Ochota Campus."
The aim of the competition was to obtain the best architectural, spatial and functional-utility concept for the building entitled "Construction of the Sports and Recreation Center for the Classes and Construction of the Student Culture Center at the Ochota Campus in Warsaw, along with land development in the area necessary for the realization of the Investment.
The works were evaluated by the Competition Jury consisting of:

- Marek Perepeczo -Deputy Chairman of the Competition Jury;
- Maciej Kuryłowicz -Referent Judge;
- Jacek Krych -Member of the Competition Jury;
- Ewa Krogulec - UW Vice-Rector for Development, member of the Competition Jury;
- Andrzej Alinkiewicz - UW Deputy Chancellor for Real Estate, member of the Competition Jury;
- Paweł Jastrzębski - Head of the Office of Innovation in Academic Space at the UW, member of the Competition Jury;
- Wojciech Młynarczyk - Office of Innovation in Academic Space at the UW, member of the Competition Jury;
- Alicja Wleciał - Director of the UW Physical Education and Sports Studio, member of the Competition Jury;
- Włodzimierz Leśniewski - Director of the AZS University Club UW. member of the Competition Jury;
- Wojciech Wagner - Deputy Director of the Office of Architecture and Spatial Planning, member of the Competition Jury.
The Court awarded three prizes and two honorable mentions.
