The subject of the study is the interior design of the newly designed object of the Social Activation Center in the Kaliny Estate in Szczecin. The area where the concept of the Social Activation Center was created is currently an area with low and high arranged greenery, small urban architecture, a playground, an outdoor gym and a parking lot. The scope of the project covers the space of Szczecin's western district of Swierczewo. The project involves new land development and the creation of a public facility, thereby improving the quality of life for residents of the Swierczewo district, with particular emphasis on part of the Kaliny estate. In addition, the newly designed facility could have a supra-local function, bringing together residents of the western part of Szczecin.

JURY OPINION

The trump card of this work is that it takes up the socially important topic of activating the local community of the estate by restoring the function defined in the past as a neighborhood community center.
The work is characterized by a synthetic and multivariate approach to the subject by formulating the function of the object as open, dynamic and changeable, and thus enabling a variety of uses of the design space and adaptation to the changing needs of residents. The proposed restrained interior solutions are in formal harmony with the adopted architectural concept based on the simple skeletal structure of the building. The commission appreciated the homogeneity, maturity and consistency of the presented design.
