Justification of the jury

The work was awarded for its universal character, aesthetics, simplicity and modularity of solutions while being multifunctional.

It was appreciated for noticing the different needs of users in the context of mobility, providing comfortable places to sit and also taking into account the spatial needs of people in wheelchairs. The proposed furniture offers the possibility of realizing various activities - the simplest, such as conversation, through games or other table activities, to growing plants in elevated pots. The potential to dismantle and reuse the whole or elements in another location was also appreciated.

Noteworthy was the thorough analysis of the feasibility of the elements using the organizer's proposed wood components and carpentry joints. The work was also awarded for its careful and clear presentation of the design idea.

The jury suggested expanding the complement of the work to include the concept of community organization around the proposed furniture.
