jury opinion
The award was given for the design of a public space taking into account the local character of the landscape
and vegetation, while recognizing the relief of the terrain and its clear slope as a basic condition
creating compositional assumptions. The concept is in line with the trends of modern urban planning,
anticipating the effects of climate change. The proposal to enlarge the park at the church and the flowing from the project
recommendation for natural paving is credible and skillfully linked to modern
architecture, the location of which does not insist on geometric imitation of the shape of other elements of the
space. A place has been created for a local market and the organization of important community
community events, skillfully separated from the troublesome Gdyńska Street.
