Jury Opinion
The award was given for an original interpretation of a "concrete" house complementing in the frontage of traditional buildings. The author's inspiration by the minimalist architecture of Japan did not direct her towards simple imitation, but on the contrary liberated her creativity, which resulted in the design of a building that is distinctive, but at the same time perfectly integrated into the neighborhood, despite the adopted contrasting aesthetics. The value of the work is the consistency of the adopted functional, formal and material solutions, which is evidence of the achievement by the Author of a high level of architectural craftsmanship.
