Me, myself, AI

author's description

The context for the Me, myself, AI project is the upcoming next technological revolution. The author, with the help of a model of generative cooperative networks, taught artificial intelligence the concept of three objects—a chair, a table and a ceramic dish. He then observed its development and analyzed how the manipulation of variables affects the direction in which its style develops. As a result, prototypes of three objects were created—a chair, a table and a ceramic vessel with an unspecified function. The primary criterion for selecting these designs was to create an artificial intelligence capable of designing coherent objects with a discernible, authorial style.

It is both an experiment and a critical project that makes us think about the essence of creativity, and raises questions about whether computers can also be creative, or whether creativity is exclusively the domain of humans, the designer says.
