jury's opinion

The award was given for a bold design of a building complementing the existing urban fabric on one of the most important undeveloped plots under the Wawel Hill in Cracow. The proposed building gracefully blends into the existing buildings. The interesting use of brick in the designed facade emphasizes the lightness of the composition, and the lack of literalism of the vision, makes the work saturated with poetics and discreet charm.
