The master's thesis concerns the design of a coworking space and café in a historic building. The importance of an alternative/flexible work model is growing in the context of increasing digitalization, which was the main reason for the author to think about this type of solution introduced into a historic building. It was quite a challenge to deal with the peculiarities of the monument, e.g. the low height of the floor, which made it unusable. The historic facade has been preserved, while the introduced new core of the building is also noticeable and can be experienced in the interiors.
