"eco-funnel"

author's description
The presented project of the bus stop focuses on the use of ecological solutions such as rainwater collection, the use of plants and renewable energy through photovoltaic panels. Acquired energy is used to illuminate the bus stop and provides operation of the departure board. The project is formed by two interconnected blocks. One of them is concrete and oval and has the function of storing bicycles. The other is shaped like a wooden cylinder. Both are at times openworked, thanks to wooden vertical elements covered with climbing plants. Each of the blocks also has the form of a funnel, having a beginning in the roof and ending with the floor. A tree has been planted inside one of them. This solution makes it possible to collect and use rainwater. Hence the name of the project "eco-funnel".

Jury opinion
The project is designed for urban areas, it is developmental, allows variants, is an example of solutions that improve the welfare of the city society. The project is part of the program of adaptation of cities to climate change and at the same time allows adaptation to diverse functions depending on the location in the appropriate part of the city.
