Jury's opinion

The project raised an important issue related to the impact of artificial lighting on the environment and people. Both the thorough analysis of the issue and the proposed functional program of the research center up to the subtle architectural response are a coherent response to the proposed topic. An added value and evidence of great commitment is the very complete and mature way of developing the broad architectural concept presented on the basis of mature, aesthetic graphic means and mock-ups.
