Whether it's a theater, museum, cinema or opera house, we associate individual building typologies with each building, dedicated to culture. "The Culture Tower" is based on a completely different approach, combining and merging cultural functions in one building and layering them and providing an outside view. It is a kind of exhibition in the city, a kind of public stage for spectators.
The unusual approach thus creates a self-sustaining cultural microcosm, connected by an internal access structure.
It surprises users with diverse, unexpected and intriguing spatial sequences.
The semi-transparent shell acts as a kind of curtain, providing a glimpse into and out of the inner space, especially in the evening.
The customized design approach has succeeded in creating a concentrated typology in the skyscraper, whose high recognition represents an identifying value for Frankfurt and its culturally interested residents.
