descriptionOn May 30, the 5th edition of the Jawor-Parquet Design Awards competition, which sought the best room design or finished project using Jawor-Parquet or Retro Collection wood flooring textures, was decided.
The contested works were to refer to the latest trends in architecture and design. Each participant could submit up to eight works to the competition, assigning them to the Design or Implementation category, and to one of four subcategories: Bedroom, Living Room, Children's Room or Commercial Space.
The submitted proposals were evaluated by a jury consisting of: Anna Gruzewska (editor-in-chief of "Czas na Wnętrze" magazine), Monika Bronikowska (co-owner of HOLA Design studio), Przemysław Szklarzewski (owner of Archidesk.pl platform), Grzegorz Sadowski (Marketing and Sales Network Development Director of Jawor-Parkiet) and Sebastian Sklepik (Specialist for architects and interior designers of Jawor-Parkiet).
The main prize in the Design category was won by Joanna Walkowicz of Geometria Studio for the project "House in the Forest", and an honorable mention went to Anna Raczynska for her work "Golden Hours".
The grand prize in the Implementation category was won by Sandra Galuszka of Architektownia studio for her work "Rounded shapes and whitewashed wood in the living area of an apartment in Poznań," and an honorable mention went to Marta Domanska for her project "Magic of Light."
