Results of the competition for a universal architectural concept for the interior design of the library children's area

descriptionIn December 2023, the Tadeusz Różewicz Municipal Public Library in Wroclaw announced a competition for the architectural arrangement of the interior of the library's children's zone in branch no. 37. At the end of February we learned the results.
The event was held under the patronage of the Association of Interior Architects.
The competition was held in cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology and was aimed at its students.
The object of the competition was to develop a universal architectural concept for the interior design of the library area for children with flexible furniture solutions according to the guidelines contained in the regulations.
The jury consisted of:
- Dean of WA PWr Prof. Barbara Gronostajska,
- Vice Dean of WA PWr Dr. Roman Czajka,
- Grzegorz Kłoda / GK Atelier,
- Anna Janus, director of the Tadeusz Różewicz Municipal Public Library in Wroclaw,
- Emilia Kubacka, deputy director for content of the Tadeusz Różewicz Municipal Public Library in Wroclaw
- Anna Krysiak, manager of branch no. 37 of the Tadeusz Różewicz Municipal Public Library in Wroclaw.
The jury awarded the Grand Prize and honorable mention.
First Prize and 5 thousand zlotys went to the work of Oliwia Kedzinska and Lizaveta Vizner. The project will be implemented in branch no. 37 at 54 a Sempołowska Street.
Honorable mention went to the team composed of: Emilia Rogowiec, Julia Myślińska, Malgorzata Lewoniuk.
