The 31st edition of Dobry Wzór, the oldest design competition in Poland, which promotes the best-designed products and services, has been launched. For 31 years, the Institute of Industrial Design has been awarding the Dobry Wzór sign, rewarding innovation, aesthetics, functionality and quality of implemented solutions.

purpose

The purpose of the competition, as we read in the regulations, is to recognize products and services generally available on the Polish market, intended for the consumer/user, characterized by high quality design, and to support their manufacturers and distributors.

terms and conditions

Products and services that are or were available on the Polish market between January 1, 2019 and September 25, 2024 can be submitted to the competition. Products and services can be submitted to one of the following categories or subcategories:

• Lucky Thirteen: September 3-9, 2024
• End of contest entries: September 25, 2024
• Announcement of the list of finalists: October 8, 2024
• Deadline for delivery of exhibits to the exhibition: October 8-18 , 2024
• Awards gala: November 6, 2024
• Duration of the exhibition: November 7 - December 3, 2024

The Good Design 2024 award is given to one product or service in each category.

Finalists of the competition receive:

• a presentation on the competition website under the "Finalists" tab,
• the title: finalist of Good Design 2024,
• an electronic certificate confirming the title obtained,
• the right to use the Good Design 2024 Finalist logotype.

Winners of the Good Design 2024 award receive:

• title: Good Design 2024,
• Dobry Wzór 2024 statuette,
• an electronic certificate confirming the title obtained,
• the right to use the Good Design 2024 logotype.

jury

The composition of the jury will be made public no later than one month before the awarding of the competition. It will be composed of experienced, award-winning designers and experts of the Institute of Industrial Design, representatives of economic and social institutions related to design, as well as representatives of institutions in the field of intellectual property and copyright protection.
