The international competition "Pape Info Point" for the design of a modular, portable educational booth on nature conservation has been announced. Attractive financial prizes await the winners, and the winning project will be implemented.

The contest is organized by the Buildner platform in cooperation with the Pape Nature Park and WWF.

destination

Pape Nature Park is located in southwestern Latvia. It covers an area of 10,886 hectares and includes peatlands, meadows and dunes around Lake Pape. It is home to many different species of animals - migratory birds, wild horses or bison.

The goal of the international competition is to create a small architectural element, using the site to tell the story of the Pape Nature Park. The information point should be visually appealing, modular, safe, mobile and made of sustainable materials. It must also be easy to assemble and disassemble.

terms and conditions

The competition is international and open - anyone can participate. It is conducted in English. Registration fees apply, depending on the entry deadline.

prizes

The prize pool for the competition is $20,000. The prizes are divided into:

  • 1st Prize: 3,000 euros
  • II Prize: 1,500 euros
  • III Prize: 1,000 euros
  • Prize for the best student project: 1,000 euros
  • Prize for the best sustainable project: 500 euros
  • Ten honorable mentions: certificates
