The next edition of the German Design Awards 2025, a prestigious international competition that awards innovative and pioneering architectural and design projects, has been announced. In previous editions, the list of winners included Polish studios such as BXB Boguslaw Barnaś and TKHolding. This year's jury includes Tomek Rygalik, among others.

purpose

The goal of the competition is to promote outstanding design achievements that contribute to the sustainable transformation of the economy. The competition awards projects that represent innovative and inspiring solutions in design, architecture and visual communication.

terms and conditions

The competition is open to companies and designers who can submit their projects in four main categories: Excellent Product Design, Excellent Communications Design, Excellent Architecture and the newly added Circular Design category. Participants must register, and projects will be judged by an independent international jury. A registration fee is required.

awards

  • discovery of the year: 15,000 euros
  • four finalists: 2,500 euros
  • exhibition presenting the finalists and winners
