The Ignacy Lukasiewicz Faculty of Construction, Environmental Engineering and Architecture at Rzeszow University of Technology (WBIŚiA), the Rzeszow Branch of the Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians (PZITB) and the Podkarpackie District Chamber of Civil Engineers (PDK IIB) invite you to participate in a competition to design a statuette and a commemorative plaque dedicated to the figure of Prof. Stanislaw Kus - constructor, civil engineer, rector of Rzeszow University of Technology and Honorary Citizen of the City of Rzeszow.

Stanislaw Kus - constructor, civil engineer, rector of Rzeszow University of Technology and Honorary Citizen of the City of Rzeszow.

purpose

The purpose of the competition is:

To select the design of a statuette to be presented to the recipients of the Prof. Stanislaw Kus Award for innovative and outstanding achievements in the field of construction, including in particular design, implementation and promotion of the authority of construction engineers.
Development of a design for a memorial plaque dedicated to Prof. Stanislaw Kusi, which will be placed in the auditorium of the Podkarpackie District Chamber of Civil Engineers.

The winning designs will be the starting point for detailed studies and implementation.

terms and conditions

The competition consists of two stages. The Selection Committee selects the 8 best works in stage 1, and the Competition Jury awards the grand prize and honorable mentions in stage 2.

Works may be submitted individually or in teams (up to 4 people) and must comply with the regulations.

Application requires sending the design work and the Participation Application Card to the organizer's email address by the deadline specified in the schedule.

prizes

The organizers anticipate awarding one grand prize for each competition (statue and plaque) and up to two honorable mentions.

The total prize pool amounts to PLN 7,000, of which PLN 3,500 is intended for the winner/winners of each contest.

Decisions on the prizes will be made by the Competition Jury, appointed by the organizers.

The Competition Jury consists of the Chairman of the Subcarpathian Chamber of Civil Engineers, the Chairman of the PZITB Rzeszow Branch, a representative or representatives of the family of Prof. Stanislaw Kus (at least one person) and employees of the Faculty of Construction, Environmental Engineering and Architecture of Rzeszow University of Technology (at least two persons).

The composition of the Competition Jury shall be appointed by an employee of the Department of Building Structures of WBIŚiA of Rzeszów University of Technology indicated by the head of the department .
