LAVA
LAVA, founded in 2007 by Chris Bosse, Tobias Wallisser and Alexander Rieck, combines future technologies with naturally occurring organizational patterns in an effort to create a smarter, socially and environmentally responsible future. The company uses the latest digital manufacturing technologies to achieve more with less material, energy, time and cost.
In 2016, LAVA won the title of European Laureate of Architecture, awarded by the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies and the Museum of Architecture and Design in Chicago. The award honors European architects who have contributed to a more critical, intellectual and artistic approach to the design of buildings and cities.
