Charlotte Perriand
Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) was a French architect and designer. Her work was aimed at creating functional living spaces in the belief that better designs help create a better society. In her 1981 article "L'Art de Vivre," she wrote: "An extension of the style of dwelling is the style of living - living in harmony with man's deepest drives and with his adopted or fabricated environment."
Thanks to the cooperation with the TV channel "ARTE in Polish" and media sponsorship of a series of films dedicated to the work of one of the most interesting French designers and architects of the 20th century - Charlotte Perriand. The series presents several-minute videos showcasing Perriand's avant-garde design through 8 of her iconic works.
Her designs continue to influence today's artists - whether journalists, TV presenters, comedians, architects or chefs. Each features an iconic object by Perriand that has revolutionized our daily lives.
