ALA Architects
ALA Architects is a Helsinki-based architectural studio founded by Juho Grönholm, Antti Nousjoki, Janne Teräsvirta and Samuli Woolston, and currently led by Grönholm, Nousjoki and Woolston.
All four began collaborating on design competitions in 2004, winning first prize as early as January 2005 in an open international competition for the edifice of a new theater and concert hall in Kristiansand, Norway - known today as the Kilden Performing Arts Center. This led to the formation of ALA Architects and gave the studio its first design commission.
