Biuro Architektoniczne Barycz i Saramowicz
Barycz and Saramowicz Architectural Office has a firm vision of the shape of modern architecture. Barycz and Saramowicz are convinced that the architecture of modern Poland in the 21st century must be avant-garde and modern, and at the same time distinct, not imitative, but drawing on its own history and tradition. For it grows out of culture and builds its identity in relation to it. They derive their creative motto from Augustine of Hippona, claiming that "beauty is the radiance of truth." The idea of the Barycz and Saramowicz Architectural Bureau is to merge modernism with indigenousness. Rooting it in cultural tradition and giving it vernacular characteristics. They call it identity modernism.
