What is CLT wood?

It is a solid panel made of cross laminated timber (CLT). The wood processed in this way is both statically effective and space defining. Selected softwood laths are cross-laminated in three to nine layers with each other. This results in structural elements that guarantee dimensional stability and rigidity, excellent static and physical properties with extremely low dead weight.

The production results in finished wall or floor elements for modern timber construction - tested and certified. For us, this is a logical step towards high prefabrication and efficiency with respect for nature.

We process the boards precisely using modern CNC machines. The high degree of prefabrication of CLT elements achieved in this way enables quick and clean assembly. We ensure delivery of the structure to the construction site within four weeks of project approval.

Advantages of cross-laminated timber

CLT construction is characterized by solid, monolithic elements that are dimensionally stable, have excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, and are safe and predictable in case of fire. Wood as a building material has many advantages, with its aesthetic and warm surface, through its ability to regulate humidity it creates an excellent indoor climate, in addition, wood is also compatible with all building materials.

Environmentally friendly - wood is the only building material with a positive CO2 balance - wood regrows, removes CO2 from the atmosphere and binds it in the building.

Short lead time - quick installation due to high level of prefabrication. CLT is also an ideal building material for modular construction which is unrivaled in terms of construction time.

Indoor climate - wood positively affects and regulates the indoor climate, absorbs moisture and gives it back on dry days.

Safety - cross-laminated timber elements provide solid fire protection and thermal insulation.

Dry and clean - CLT wood is dry and does not introduce additional moisture into the structure. This means that no additional time is required for the structure to dry.
Recyclable - wood components can be reused for other applications if necessary.

CLT construction is used for both individual single-family house projects and large-scale developments. With large-format monolithic elements, special static challenges can also be easily met. The principle of layered construction structure with simple connection details guarantees the most economical applications in all areas of construction. 4 CLT wood quality classes

Our cross-laminated timber, finds its use as visible or invisible structural elements, for this purpose we offer 4 surface classes:

Supreme - the highest surface class we offer, "Supreme" sets new standards in CLT production. In the first line, specially selected wood is used, and in addition, undesirable defects in the raw material, detected by scanning, are removed by cutting. After sorting, the lamellas are recombined taking into account color and texture, which guarantees a harmonious appearance of the board.

Visual residential- is characterized by a classic, clean pattern with single knots. Top-grade wood from Austrian forests is carefully graded and sorted. During comprehensive production, special attention is paid to healthy and heavily in-grown branches. As with the Supreme grade, uniformity of color and texture is elementary.

Industrialvisual- Industrial visual class combines elegance and functionality. Also with increasing economic requirements and large projects, it is very important for us to ensure good and consistent quality. The strength of this class lies in the excellent ratio of solid quality to attractive price. The priority of the product is to obtain an economical structural component with solid physical properties.

Non-visual - finds its application in non-visible structures. Because, unlike the other classes, there is no sorting of lamellas in terms of quality, and the final surfaces are usually covered with gypsum board. The strength of such a board is definitely a solid prefabricated construction at an attractive price.
