Window drives
Our electric drives that open and close windows are performing very well on the market. These drives combine two functions: safety in the event of fire hazards and the comfort of everyday living ventilation. Automated windows with chain and spindle drives serve, in the event of a fire, as an exhaust opening for the smoke and heat extraction system, thus enabling safe evacuation from the building. In everyday use, they additionally enable air exchange and natural cooling of the premises.

Among our solutions you can find spindle drives, which are mainly used for inward and outward tilt windows. Among the most popular are GEZE ECchain, GEZE Slimchain and the most powerful drive in our portfolio GEZE Powerchain with a maximum pushing force of up to 600 N. We also offer spindle actuators used mainly for roof windows, the most powerful of which is the GEZE E 1500 S. And don't forget the very popular and readily used on many investments GEZE K 600 actuator, which is most often used in aeration technology.
GEZE smoke ventilation control units and GEZE IQ box KNX
GEZE smoke and heat extraction control units are the brains of the smoke and heat extraction (RWA) system and natural ventilation of the building. They control system components to effectively extract smoke, toxic gases and heat in the event of a fire. They accept signals from smoke and temperature sensors and respectively control the extraction of smoke and heat from the zone of the building in which the danger occurred.
Such solutions, properly designed and configured, also contribute to reducing the cost of energy consumption, if only for heating or ventilation of individual rooms. Our offer includes the GEZE MBZ 300 control unit, which successfully handles all the above-mentioned functions.
Also worthy of special mention is the GEZE IQ box KNX module, which is the interface between the IQ Windowdrives and the KNX building bus system. It enables versatile and flexible window control solutions that meet the current and future requirements for living ventilation in intelligent buildings. Unlike bus protocols such as BACnet, KNX does not require a central control system. KNX controls (e.g., push button, weather station) can directly actuate KNX actuators (e.g., window drives). This allows smaller projects, such as room ventilation with automatic windows, to be implemented much more cost-effectively. Our networked KNX IQ box KNX system solution means "ease of use" for investors, planners, system installers and users alike.

GEZE IQ box Safety
To increase the safety of window use, last year we also launched the IQ box Safety module for user protection in dangerous areas at motorized windows. It protects the edges that threaten to crush and cut on the main and side closing edges. As a TÜV-tested solution, it guarantees maximum safety in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and -2 and meets the highest protection classes for power windows according to the risk assessment of the Machinery Directive (protection class 4 according to VFF KB.01). The possibility of connecting up to four sensors (pressure and/or non-contact) enables flexible, user-specific protection of GEZE IQ windowdrive windows powered by 24V DC.

GEZE has tested nSHEV (PN EN 12101-2) smoke ventilation windows based on Aluprof, Aliplast, Aluron, Ponzio and Yawal aluminum systems. GEZE smoke ventilation windows with actuators can be made in practically any variant - vertical windows: casement, tilt, swing, tilt, parallel opening on scissors as well as roof windows: single or double leaf, without or with wind deflectors.
