Substructures for ventilated facades.
From the series "Modern facade and wall materials - trends 2021"
BSP Bracket System Polska Sp. z o.o. is a leading manufacturer of substructures under ventilated facades on the Polish market. The company mainly specializes in their design and supply of complete aluminum substructure systems that meet all technical requirements for the facade industry.
In recent years, great attention has been paid to thermal insulation issues. Therefore, BSP System has developed several passive substructure systems. In addition, the company offers services related to the performance and verification of thermal calculations for ventilated facades.
BSP KW4 PAS passive substructure system
The BSP KW4 PAS system is the latest passive substructure system introduced by BSP. It is a universal system for attaching many different types of cladding to an exterior façade. The characteristic element of this system is the consoles with a plastic chambered spacer. The specially designed shape of the consoles and the appropriately selected materials from which they are manufactured make it possible to achieve a relatively high load-bearing capacity while maintaining very favorable insulation parameters. Thanks to the use of BSP passive consoles, the effect of "thermal bridges" on the external facade in the thermal insulation layer can be significantly eliminated. The product has already passed a number of corrosion, strength and fire tests confirming its use on external facades.

BSP KWE bar substructure system
With a view to the large-scale thermal upgrades of existing buildings currently underway, BSP System has developed the innovative BSP KWE bar substructure system. This system makes it possible to anchor directly into the building's structure without having to remove and replenish parts of the existing thermal insulation. The installation of the new facade layer is thus much faster and easier. The BSP KWE system is also used for standard mounting of ventilated facades and suspended ceilings on new buildings.

In addition, the bar system is a passive solution and, unlike standard substructures involving consoles, is characterized by a very low point heat transfer coefficient, with no linear heat transfer coefficient caused by the profile sliding into the thermal insulation layer.

Additional advantages of this system are the use of the same elements regardless of the overhang, which is practically unlimited, as well as the coaxial action of the wind pressure and suction force to the anchoring force, which has a beneficial effect on its strength.
