HOXTER - fireplace inserts as a full-fledged heat source

03 of May '24

Hoxter, a leading manufacturer of premium fireplace inserts, adheres to the principle that a fireplace should definitely not only play an aesthetic role in an interior as a design accessory and atmosphere creator. In fact, Hoxter fireplace inserts can also be used for intensive and regular heating, combining design with efficiency and functionality.

The key to effective use is the quality of the equipment itself, the technical solutions chosen and, above all, the possibility of accumulation operation. All materials used are robust and durable. The structure of the bodies is made of boiler steel with a thickness of 4 mm, the high-temperature fired hearth lining is specially designed for intensive heating, the solid door frame ensureslong-term stability and tightness of the hearth. All controls and moving parts have been tested for high temperature operation.

Hoxter is synonymous with accumulation, 8 out of 10 products can be equipped with accumulation disks, which are becoming increasingly popular due to their efficiency and small size. Hot flue gases are in direct contact with the mass of the accumulation disc, which stores heat and then releases it back into the room over a period of 8-9 hours. This design and use of the fireplace allows the room to stay warm even when the fireplace is not actively burning wood. As a result, 2-3 additions of wood per day are enough, and the fireplace will still provide a pleasant temperature and a comfortable feeling.

Another advantage of Hoxter inserts is that the fireplace can be double-glazed, which effectively prevents the room from overheating, while allowing more heat to flow into the storage rings. This means that users can enjoy all the benefits of efficient heat accumulation while maintaining an optimal interior temperature. In other words, there is no momentary rapid overheating of the heated space and subsequent cooling after combustion, but pleasant, long-lasting radiant heat is maintained.

With its approach to heating and emphasis on accumulation, Hoxter has been successful in German-speaking countries, where the tradition of heating with wood through accumulation is deeply rooted. However, accumulation fireplaces are becoming increasingly popular in other countries as well, including Poland.
