Keeping a close eye on market trends in the dimension of aesthetics and sustainable production, we created the Polish manufactory Cahaya Design, which captures beauty, sustainability and ecology in its simplicity of form.

Shapes inspired by nature

The idea of washbasins is contained in the quality of the material and simplicity of the form. Inspired by sea waves, the SEICHE line is a fast and durable solution for bathrooms and bathing rooms. Our range includes 6 models of washbasins in different colors of Corian®, in 3 possible variants (right, left, center). Each of the 18 proposals is personalized according to the decision on the installation of the faucet and the choice of brackets. Our simple and transparent ordering system allow for quick processing. We offer standard castings in dimensions: 94x50x12cm. Producing from Corian® material, we can afford flexibility, hence we allow design modifications - up to 20 cm reduction in length and 10 cm flexibility in width. Thus, the smallest Cahaya has dimensions of 74x40x12cm.

Luminous form with Corian®

CAHAYA means light in Indonesian, the moment when it penetrates between the branches of trees in a way that is magical to the eye, transforming the space. It is a symbol of the timelessness of washbasins, our fascination with nature, but also a literal expression of their possibilities. AWAN and BATU models are made of light-transmitting panels - in the colors Corian® Dune Prima and Corian® White Onyx. The possibility of under-sink installation of LED panels makes the subdued shade of sandstone, when illuminated, resemble volcanic lava, and the subtlety of white turns into a pearly mist color. Illuminating washbasins is an appealing solution for design-bold commercial spaces, such as hotels or spa salons, or a custom proposal for individual clients.

We are comprehensively responsible for the selection of raw material, design and production process, so we offer proven solutions based on the quality of the material we work with. Corian® is a blend of minerals and acrylic resin, developed and still being developed by the American chemical company DuPont™. It's a material often used in the production of commercial space furnishings as a durable work surface, reception counter or conference table top. Or large commercial projects - as a cladding material - decorative inside or facade - exterior of buildings. The material's characteristics are confirmed by its international environmental and hygiene certification, including a DIN EN ISO 846 certificate, corresponding to the Polish standard PN-EN ISO 846:2002 required in hospitals and health care facilities for resistance to fungi, bacteria and microorganisms. Hence our confidence in the durability of Corian® and our belief that CAHAYA washbasins area responsible choice for conscious consumers.
